A Championship to Savor
Ain't That Delicious! tastes victory, and likes it!

Heading into Thursday nights final rounds of playoffs, it was difficult to see way for Ain't That Delicious to pull off a championship run. Defending champion Talk Down Analog was the first order of business, followed by the always dangerous Footlong Tacos.

In the Semi-Finals against Talk Down Analog, TDA jumped out early to an early lead and appeared to be in control. However, the Delicious ones were able to stabilize their defense and keep a good rhythm on offense, coming back to tie the score before halftime. In the second half, they continued to make plays, led by the steady hand of quarterback Cody Nelson. Nelson led the game winning drive, milking as much time off the clock as possible, before throwing the game winning touchdown pass. By leaving virtually no time for Talk Down Analog to respond, Ain't That Delicious! was able to prevail 52-46.

In the finals, Ain't That Delicious! had too much momentum let the Footlong Tacos break their stride. While it remained close for much of the game, midway through the second half Zak H. made a key interception that allowed the winners to put the game away. Congratulations to Zak, Melissa, Cody, and the rest of the champions of Ain't That Delicious!
