Nothing could stop Cassie Young of the Saints on Tuesday, not even her soaking wet sweat pant- bell bottoms, from kicking Kickball butt! She was laying down some tight bunts and with her speed she may as well could have been standing on third by the time the pitcher grabbed the ball. W/the game close against the rough and tough Kicktease kickballers, Cassie got on base and managed to be kicked in for the winning run. Heck of a job out there, Cassie!!

When building a team, you look for those who learn fast, can get the job done, and can deal w/pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Mars Bar Menace has found this exact somebody, to a T. Mark Brewer is all that and a bag of chips. For his first time on the kickball field, he quickly became an all-star on defense and kicking. As a pitcher he accumulated at least an out an inning and whle at bat showed some BIG TIME power. W/all his talents, he also recognized why everyone was out there: TO HAVE FUN!....and he added to that. Way to be an awesome example, Mark!!

Kevin Wyatt of the Amholes was just upgraded to elite Kickball status after his show in right field and at the plate. Wyatt made one of the greatest double plays of the season by catching a flyball deep in right field, then turning around and from 50 feet, throwing the runner, who did not tag up, out at first....ICHIRO style!! (or maybe 3 years ago Ichiro style). Fantastic job out there, Wyatt!!

Toby completed a magnificent play in the outfield to win the ire and congrats from his teammates as well as his opponents. On a high, long kick to centerfield the ball deflected off his teammates finger tips and changed direction suddenly as he was tracking the kick and backing up his teammate. Toby made a Matrix-like move to contort his body back to the ball, bobbling and juggling the kickball on his way to the ground. Showing true grit, he held on, didn't let the ball hit the ground and won our praise for his efforts!

A delicate yet accurate kick just far enough from the defense to get their paws on. What Brie doesn't know yet, but will soon, is that b/c of that RBI, she is now a VIP of Seattle where she will never ever have to pay for another drink in her life!! Mars Bar Menace

It's a good thing he can play kickball better than he can spell because Mike "Macoh" Moe was one of the main reasons his team got the victory. Any and every ball kicked in his direction was almost a guarenteed 'out'. It didn't matter if it was fair or foul, Mike was there to make the catch. He ended the game by catching a foul ball then doubling up the runner on 2nd. He also added some offense in the mix too going 3-4 with 3 RBIs. Way to play "Macoh" Man!
