Don't Come On My Base, Hit it and Forget About it!, MCM, Still Better Than Twilight - Indy #1
Greg Blaisdell
Chix and Stix
This weeks player of the week goes to the solid hitting of Greg B. The whole team looked like they worked hard in the off season staying tuned up for the spring league ball, but Greg wowed the team with his bat. Great had numerous RBI's to help his team start with a 1 and 0 record. Greg also hit one very long shot deap in the outfield allowing him to saunter around the bases in the rain! Great game Greg!

Ginger Ahn
Still Better Than Twilight - Indy #1
Ginger played a solid game behind the plate and in right field. She stated she joined the team to meet new people and have fun. By the time the game was over she had wished she would have joined years ago. Her team did the improbable comeback scoring 4 runs in the top of the 7th to get a tie 16 -16. Great job Ginger!!

Drew Piston
Slap My Pitch Up
Drew did an amazing job in the field last night trying to keep his team in it. Facing the undeafeated team is always tough, but facing it while trying to develop your own teams cemistry is even tougher. Several rockets off the opposing bats went to short stop only to have them snaged by diving, jumping, and back hand catches. Even though his team suffered another defeat, Drew was the talk of the night with all the plays he made. Great job Drew and Good luck the rest of the way!!

Nate Coleman
Chix and Stix
Nate had a frozen rope throw from the outfield for a play at the plate this week. The catcher made the tag for the out and this served as a rally for the team. Great job.
Bad News Bears, Chix and Stix, Hit it and Forget About it!, MCM
Jennifer Poague
Don't Come On My Base
Jennifer went all out this week, being aggressive on the base paths. So aggressive that she injured her ankle sliding into third, resulting in her leaving the game. Heal up quick Jen!

Courtney Miller
Chix and Stix
Courtney capped off a great game with her first 4 for 4 performance of the season. She also showcased her arm on defense as she consistently got the ball back in quickly from right field.
This weeks player of the week goes to Robert and his stellar digs at first base. In the first playoff game Robert helped his team advance to the next round with his routine digs. In a game that was close, a single pass ball at first could have made the difference, but there were none to speak of. Robert also went 3 for 4 with the bat, and knocked in some valuable insurance runs, and left the field with a big "W"! Great game Robert!
