Spring Co-ed Softball at Queen Anne/North Ballard Sundays

Not all heroes wear capes, but Nick Baumgartner may as well had one on during Glove Actually's doubleheader on Sunday. With a 5 HR game from the plate that lead helped pile up 32 runs on the scoreboard, it seemed unlikely that there was more he could do for his team. But Nick didn't stop surprising as he put together his team's only 1-2-3 inning from the mound helping Glove Actually secure their first win of the day. But Nick was just getting started. In the second game of the double header, a much more tightly contested affair, Nick was a pillar of consistency at the plate as he continued to hit runs in at a rapid clip. With his constant offense and great team defense, Glove Actually pulled out their second win of the day and sealed the Player of the Week accolade for their MVP from the plate. Congratulations Nick!
