Winter Softcore Volleyball at First Baptist Thursdays

No matter how intense the competition, there should always be room for sportsmanship in any game. Jeremy repeatedly offered his help - from setting up the nets to offering to play with the competing team who was missing players. Jeremy really embodied the Underdog spirit with his attitude. For increasing the fun had by all, Jeremy is our Player of the Week. Congratulations!

Even when a ball looked certain to hit the floor on the Volleybrawler's side, Michael Gee made sure to prove everyone wrong. Time and time again, there are teams that celebrate a point too early and Gee made no exception for this during the match!

When Gee was in the front row, he blocked a powerful ball that was then forced into net. Instead of letting it drop to the ground, Gee popped it back up and set up his team to steal the point! He had many mighty attacks and tips that gave his team the point and he has proved that he is great asset for the Volleybrawlers! With each game they played, their scored improved and it looks like will be a feared team in the future.

Michelle was a true X-factor at passing and digging in her game this week. Proving the old adage that some people just have “it,” Michelle was on another level during her game. Without a doubt, Michelle outran, outjumped, and outperformed the competition, which paved the way for her team’s victory. She was all over the place, diving and digging any ball that came remotely in her direction. She made countless saves, shining as the true MVP of the game For gracing all in attendance with his/her natural athletic ability, Michelle is our Player of the Week. Congratulations!
