Stepping onto the court across from Kate you might think "easy, peasy", but that would be a huge mistake. As a setter, Kate places the ball in the perfect spot for her hitters and when it's her time on the front line she smacks it, whacks it or dinks it any way necessary to rack up her kills stat.

While bump, set and spike is the main idea of volleyball those three can't happen without the start of a serve. Tonight, Nads was the master of serving. Some went here, some went there, but all were just where they needed to be. Nads also transferred his arm power to the front row with many great spikes that too were in the right place at the right time.

After an unfortunate sprain of the ankle last season, Hunter is back and its like he didn't miss a beat. He was hitting hard and digging low. While he may not have been able to jump as high as he wished, his arm power was still there and his opponents felt it.

Lexi was a little gimpy tonight after she crushed some ice with her knee while snowboarding, but she didn't let it get in her way. Multiple times you could find Lexi flying across the floor to dig a ball that no one else was going to get to. Lexi put her life and limbs into the game and was a major factor in why her team won.
