Lights out hitting leads the way
If I can put Paul's performance into one word on Tuesday night it would be "lights out". Paul went 4 for 4 in the 6:15 game and pumped 2 deep bombs out of field 6 to go along with 2 doubles. He was responsible for 8 runs with 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored. Paul was on fire and clearly lead the charge in the 10th seed knocking off the 7th seed team. Great job Paul!!

Who Said Softball was Relaxing?
This weeks player of the week goes to Matt Wilms for his solid play all game, but a few plays stick out. Matt was getting a bit beat-up making plays, and made one outstanding catch of a lazors hit in his direction. This ball was fired at him in a potential rally that ended quickly on the self preservation catch made by Matt. Matt also hit well, hitting hard shots to left! Great game Matt!

Amazing softballer
Great teaching, strong defense, and some sweet hits leads to big win
Jared Ulmer is the type of player that every team should have. Not only is he a super stud on defense and offense, he's also one hell of a great teacher. He played a dynamite error-less game on Tuesday by getting some sweet hits and making out after out at shortstop including a phenomenal diving catch that's worthy of acknowledgement on ESPN's top 10 plays of the day. A great game Jared did have, but what's more outstanding is how he took a little time to give his second baseman a few pointers on catching and fielding the ball which ulitmately led to that same second baseman making the last and final out of the game. You are my HERO, Jared!!

Olsen Leads No Pants Party to Close Win
Starts beautiful triple play
Ryan Olson came up big for No Pants Party, hitting a 2 run HR and starting a around the horn triple play, leading his squad to a 9-8 win over The Goulets. Olson's dominance started with a 2 run dinger that hit the screen in left center, continued with 2 more hits and ended with a slick play at 3rd that started a around the horn triple play. The triple play is something you don't see very often, but this one was spectacular, from fielding the ball to the throws around the horn barely nipping the runner at 1st by a half a step. There was fine play offensively and defensively by both teams, foretelling a future showdown in the playoffs.

This weeks player of the week goes to Audra Bell and her perfect performance at the plate. Audra was 5 for 5 with her last at bat doing the most damage. While routinely knocking in runs she was able to finish the game with a two run double. In a high scoring game it was Audra's walk-off double that put her team into the win column. Great job Audra!

Great games bring out the greatest players. Such was the case with Kyle Thorpe of the "Goulets" in their epic rematch against "No Pants Party." The game went back and forth with several lead changes. Down by 1 heading into the sixth inning the "Goulets" needed somebody to step up and Kyle delivered in a big way with a 3-run HR to retake the lead. Thanks to some stellar defense by Kyle his team was able close out the game with a victory. Great job and congrats!
