Late Fall Co-ed Volleyball at Seattle Central Thursdays

Alex had a great week this week. She earned player of the game not just once, but twice for her great serving and her plethora of aces. She was really able to swing the tide of her games with her ability to steal points with all her aces.

Jesse and his team turned out for a nail-biting match on Thursday night. Jesse stood out during game 1 when he sent his first warning shot sailing across the net towards the back wall of the gym. Before long, Jesse was putting down balls from back row, front row, and forbidding the opposing team's hits from crossing the net. With an even distribution of sets from their captain, Jesse and his teammates left the gym victorious. For his spectacular net play, Jesse is this week's player of the week! Nice work!

Molly came to play tonight. In their first round game Molly was hustling all over the court. Tonight was a good night for her to bring her hustle and was also described as bringing the bustle too. Molly picked a good time to show out for her team.

In the second set of the championship game, Notorious D.I.G. battled for the opportunity to be crowned champions of midcore volleyball and remain undefeated for the season. Set Sets wasn't going to give up the game easily and both teams exchanged points back and forth. Then, Brigette stepped back to serve. From six feet behind the service line, she gently tossed the ball into the air, and whipped her arm toward the ball with speed and power. The result was a bullet serve that floated from left to right like a knuckle ball, landing untouched on the opponent's court. She repeated this motion four times, earning four aces, and pushing Notorious D.I.G. into the lead. For swinging the momentum decisively in her team's favor, Brigette is this week's player of the week! Nice work!
