Summer Softcore Kickball on Eastlake M/W

Mike put together an impressive two-game performance knocking himself on base almost every time up and causing major havok with his quick baserunning.
From the mound, he was quick off the rubber and shut down most of his opponents bunting game.

The most obvious thing about the 5th Grade Sports Legends was the men's shorts. Almost all of them wearing really short shorts, but none were as short as John's. I wanted to give him POTW just for have the guts to having them that high. With his team barely ahead, John kicked a 3 run homerun. That put 5th Grade up quite a bit but Bad News Banyan made a game of it before John recorded the final pit to seal the win. Great win 5th Grade. Now please!!! Nick ban all men from wearing short shorts. Hahaha.

Lindsey Barnes earned the respect of everyone at Rogers park on Wednseday by playing not just one game w/her own team, but one more game w/another team as a sub, while fighting off what the weak would call an injury;). Lindsey "power house" Barnes played 2 awesome games even though she basically had one leg. Playing 3rd base in both of em, she caught nearly every ball sent her way. Where the true respect comes into play, Lindsey, even though injured, mind you, stuck around after her first game and played for Bad News Banyan to help them avoid a forfeit. YOU ARE AWESOME, Lindsey!

Despite TMZ's rumors, Scott Davidson does NOT participate or associate w/people who use steriods. The only thing that Scott might be guilty of is kicking a whole crapload of kickball ass! It's so easy for the media to say he's roidin' it when he throws the ball at speeds of 130 MPH or also when he kicks the ball into the next millenium. Scott is what the United States Kickball association calls "a natural BAD ASS." So, let the media tell its lies b/c we all know, that deep down inside everyone who speaks these fabrications is only jealous of Scott's natural abilities.

This weeks player of the week goes to Tim Herrmann and his game ending kick. In the bottom of the 7th The Big Dirty trailed by a couple of runs and played way to hard to go home empty handed. With players in scoring position Tim placed a drive to right-field scoring both runs to win the game and advance in the playoffs. Great job to you Tim and the rest of your squad!
