Beach Slap and Scared Hitless both showed up early to get in some quality warm up time before their big match. When the time came for the game to start they were ready to rock and had their game faces to show it. Both teams were hustling around the court to get all the touches they possibly could on the ball. While all the running around and bumps, sets and spikes were very useful, there was one thing that stood out as the game winning skill, serves. When Scared Hitless got on that back line, they were deadly. I don’t know if they meant to put it where they did all the time, but it was always a mystery as to where the next one would end up and because of this they were crowned champions at the end of the night

After making it through the semi-finals in one way or another, Kiss my Pass and Kiraly Baby found themselves on opposite sides of the net. Ro-sham-bo was played, the teams took their positions and the ball was in play. Both teams showed their determination to win in aced serves, low digs and high flying, hard hitting kills. They were smart with chips and dinks when they needed to be, but for the most part they showed their strength. While Kiss my Pass had the upper hand with two tall guys, Kiraly Baby used their scrappiness to not let the height win the match. Kiraly Baby was not giving up after Kiss my Pass took game one and the points rattled back and forth for most of game two. The score was 18-19 in favor of Kiraly Baby, when Kiss my Pass went back to serve. One ace to tie it up. A hard hit to take the lead. Finally a botched hit to win for the second year in a row. Congrats Kiss my Pass!
