There may be no more appropriate time than to quote the oft quoted song of "We are the Champions" as that song rang throughout the ceremonious moments following Basic Pitches capturing the championship. Not to be deterred by the night fall or the gamesmanship by their opponents, the players on Basic Pitches remained focused at the task at hand and that was to play an almost flawless and consistent brand of kickball. With this in mind, they were content to let the chips fall where they may and were extremely confident in their athletic ability. They rode their talent and consistency all the way to the Promised Land!!! I think they would be quick to tell anyone who listens... That they are the CHAMPIONS... Of the world...
