A new season is underway and there are a lot of great teams playing Monday nights at First Baptist. Your team better bring their A++ game when the time comes to play 2 Legit 2 Hit. I'm talking speed, power, intensity, volume!!
Brigitte - if she ever decides to braid that ponytail, the makings of a fierce B-braid. X-factor player for sure.
Brooke- that volume! Constant communication.
Alex - hope your blocks strong b/c his attacks are killer.
Kaci - hands of an angel! Perfect sets one after another.
Addison - better bring some padding b/c his serves are rockets with crazy trajectories.
Andy - think you're going to tip? Think again. Andy cleans the floor as he makes incredible diving saves.

This weeks POTW goes to Dillion Rose!

Similar to NBA superstar Derrick Rose, Dillion can do it all on the court. He sets, blocks, serves and serves kills and he does it all humbly and gracefully. Not only was Dillion a great player on the court but he was kind and helpful off the court as well. Every time the door bell rang he raced down to get players from both teams so i wouldn't have to waddle up and down those stairs.

Thanks Dillion for being awesome!

The Bawlers

Even though they weren't able to pull out a win they were incredible to watch. They communicated really well and fought to keep each ball love. Surprising the opposing team with some forceful and incredible spikes. Definitely a good match up with awesome rallies back and forth, everyone fighting to keep the ball alive. This is a team to watch out for come next season!

Monday Midcore Champions

Monday night vollleyball, at First Baptist was thrilling and exciting. Each team came and fought hard in the semi finals with Back That Ace Up and Sets on the Beach making to the final game. Great volleyball was played last night, with unbelievable digs, killer spikes, skill serves, and some flawless sets, it was definitely one of the most intense nights of volleyball I have watched during this league. Back That Ace Up came out on top as our midcore champions, after having an incredible and nearly undefeated season!
