Spring Co-ed Kickball at Ballard Playfield Sundays

In a game featuring 5 ties and 6 lead changes, Carl Olson proved to be the deciding factor in a hard-fought week 2 battle. With his team down by 1 in the last inning, Carl launched a ball into the outfield for a go ahead 2-run homer. Holding their opponent to zero runs in the bottom of the inning sealed the victory and made Carl the hero of the game! Great job Carl!

Mandy displayed true Underdog spirit after being thrown to the pyre and placed at first base for the first time ever.
She made the transition with relative ease, as she snared throw after throw and made play after play.
Despite the score difference, she never gave up and never let the smile slip from her face. Great attitude and play Mandy!

"Tim is the man!!" was the phrase echoed across the field on Sunday night after a grand slam that put his team up by 5. In a tight finish to the regular season, One Kick Wonders would not let up the slightest. But when Beer N' Bacon needed it most, Tim Renner stepped up big and slammed 4 runs home for his team. That boost to the team may be just what Beer N'Bacon needed to make a deep run in the playoffs next week!

Nate Brown used his great pitching to keep LiverBurst off balance. His pitching and the stellar defense behind him was able to hold off several rallies. As good as Nate's pitching was in the game, his game ending diving catch sealed the win and championship for Booze on First. Keep up the good work Nate.
