Lovely job to Aura Cook making Player of the Week! She showed up early ready to get started. She was encouraging to her teammates and worked well with her opponents. Aura did great in finding the balance of being competitive and keeping the game fun for everyone, she wasn't afraid to ask questions or give suggestions to her team!

Great job Bobby, you are the player of the week! This week was really hard to decide because everyone did fantastic. Bobby's team Kickin' It was amazing in their double header and the longer they played the greater they were. Bobby did a lovely job setting the ball up for plays and his hits were on point with a hint of rocketing twists. There was a lot of communication going on between him and his teammates, his serves were consistent and he made a few crazy cool saves! Nice job Bobby and also to your teammates for two great games! You guys were truely kickin' it!

He shows up week after week on time, ready to play, and hits the sand at full speed. Rob is a die hard athlete, he goes for the ball even when it's way out of bounds just to keep the game in play. He knows the true meaning of fun, and he does a great job making sure that everyone around him is on the same level. Way to be a good sport Rob!

Cynthia channels anger and sacrifices body for Sand Fleas
Usind a range of emotions to dominate the volleyball courts, Cynthia focused on channeling anger to victory. With cheers of "C'mon fleas, get pissed," coming from the sidelines, Cynthia showed how to inspire on and off the court by sparking that anger in her teammates: "That ball just kissed your girlfriend; CRUSH IT!"
Not being satisfied playing with two good wheels, Cynthia also sacrificed her knee for the cause of victory, digging deep to bring home the "W."

Standing alone on Kickin' it's side of the court at two minutes before gametime did not seem to daunt the ever-punctual Keith. Apparently unaware that his team showed up for the night, Keith was a one man wrecking crew all throughout the playoffs, hustiling all over the court, never letting a ball hit the sand (until he decided to unleash his mighty swing).
