When playing beach volleyball the thing that always causes the most trouble is the lack of ability to jump. Tonight Erik showed everyone how much fun you can have with creative and inventive ways of jumping. Sometimes it did the trick and other times it gave everyone a nice opportunity to giggle.

With the breeze that was coming off the water today, serving was a bit tricky for most, but not Kasey. She mastered the wind and showed it was not match for her as she went on an impressive 11 serve streak.

Ellen brought he soccer skills to the beach today as she used her feet many times to save the ball. On multiple occasions Ellen surprised her team by getting the ball in the air when they all thought it was a goner.

Ben showed the wind who was boss tonight as he served the ball masterfully. He read the wind, took aim and launched his serve the way it needed to be. It's almost like Ben is a wind whisperer.

99 Problems...

On a night filled with a lack of motivation due to rain, Stan pulled out some crafty moves to get the ball over the net. Be it the sneaky bump the served ball right back into the servers spot or a double axle, pirouette finished off with a slight finger poke of the ball, Stan made the plays happen and the got the points scored.

Mike was hustling all over the court in both games tonight. Game one ended up being a forfeit in kemp's kids favour, but Mike still brought his "A" game as he ran around the court like a chicken with his head cut off. The. Again in game two, Mike showed his determination and heart with lots of sprinting to touch the ball. It was like he was the energiser bunny.

Liana and her teammates are constantly hustling for the ball all over the court. Tonight, in both games, Liana continued to do this and even ran over a teammate to get a ball over the net. She is the one pumping her team up every play and shows them the type of dedication they should have to the great sport of beach volleyball. Liana gets the awesome captain award with three cheers.
