Spring Co-ed Softball on Capitol Hill Saturdays

This weeks player of the week goes to Ryen Shimizu for his great play on offense and defense. While at short-stop Ryen made lots of web-gem plays with diving catches and great throws to the bases. He also hit the ball very well getting homers in both games of a doubleheader. Ryen looked like he was in midseason form for the first day of the season. Great job Ryen!

Judging from her reactions on the bench, Jennifer played one of the best games of her life. She was all smiles in the dugout after making a big catch to end an inning then followed it up with her first base hit of the day. She epitomized what Underdog is all about: Having a great time with great people on a great day.

This weeks player of the week goes to Blake Manning for his outstanding plays on "D". He snagged everything in his direction with a few diving plays to slow any rally's being mounted by his opponent. Great job Blake!

This weeks player of the week goes to all the players on the Homewrecker squad. They banded together all season to the number one seed for the playoffs and being the team to beat. With the targets on the head in the playoffs they all tightened the screws and played solid softball. They were strong in every aspect with solid "D", and finding lots of grass with the solid bats the whole team had. Great season Homewreckers, and hats off the all the performances of your squad!
