Pete and his Championship team came to the gym with high spirits after their big win last week and started this season off with a bang. Pete for one was a huge player tonight as he ran front, back, left and right for every ball that he could possibly touch. He was awesome on defence and offence and definitely deserved his player of the game status.

All three games of the match were neck and neck as each side of the court had great bumps, sets & spikes. Sara was a strong participant in all of these categories as well as on the back line with many stellar serves that helped her team cross over the hump and win the match.

Erin went balls to the walls tonight and showed those pesky 6 foot guys that even a 5 foot tall girl can smash the ball over the net for a ton of kills through the whole match. She also assisted her teammates many times with her usual awesome setting. All around the court Erin proved to be a threat to her opponents.

Ben unfortunately was not able to be there tonight because of an injury, but his spirit was there with the team. Through the rest of the season he was a big contributor to his teams wins and can gladly call himself a champion. Ben's plays at the net were always smart and he put up a huge block numerous times.
