Late Fall Co-ed Flag Football at Seattle Center Tuesdays

Byron M earns this week's Player of the Week award for his outstanding contributions on offense and defense on Tuesday evening. On offense, Byron reeled in 2 amazing TD's, toe-tapping in the endzone for one and then running most of the field distance for the other. On the defensive side is where he really shined, grabbing 3 INTs to lead his Fuzzy Bunnies to a victory.

Peter gets the player of the week for two reasons. The first was his great play at the quarterback position. He was a huge part of his teams victory over a talented Dino Nuggets squad, he threw five touchdown passes and continually picked apart the defense throughout the game. The second reason he gets player of the week is because he a solid elbow to his face from his own teammate and handled like a boss. No major injury, but the cut was not pretty and it could have been much worse. Heal up soon Peter, your team needs you!

It's not very often that a 1 vs 8 seed is that intriguing of a matchup, but that is what happened on Tuesday night. The 8th seeded Dino Nuggets, facing a tough schedule all season, grinded tooth and nail, forcing overtime with a big time play at the end of regulation. Once overtime came around, Ricky S threw yet another TD pass, putting Taco Corp up by a score. Needing another defensive stop, Ricky jumped in the lane of a pass in overtime, clinching the victory. Well done!
