What a debut! Playing in his first Underdog Softball game ever, Kyle crushed 3 HR's (including a lead-off!) in leading this team to a 16-6 victory on opening day in Kirkland. Kyle didn't get out the entire game, knocking in 8 runs and providing stellar defense on the other side of the ball. Congrats!

Jake had a monster day at the plate. He was almost unstoppable in his teams pair of wins. In the first game he went 4 for 5 with 2 HRs and a triple while only giving up 1 ER. In the second game, he upped the ante with 3 HRs and a triple, including one over the left field fence.

Alex Miklos earns player of the week for the Kirkland league. Alex helped on both sides of the ball with stellar defense, hitting, and baserunning. She pulled a hamstring late in the game, yet remained in to help out her team (and to prevent the gender ratio from getting too extreme). Alex sacrificed her time and body for her Indy team, and that is a sign of a true champion.

It was a great defensive battle between "Make it a Double" and "Real Friends." After a series of great catches and scoreless innings, "Make it a Double" was able to break the game open with some fantastic hitting from Scott Z, who had "hella home runs" as his teammates put it. It was a fantastic championship game to end the season.
