Making Kickball Great Again
DJ earns this week's Player of the Week award for getting on base every time, including kicking a "kickball grand slam", that is, a single with 2 errors that plated everyone with the bases loaded. Good thing we were playing kickball, as him and team were having a lot of fun out there.

Making Kickball Great Again
This past week, Nate put the cherry on top of his team's domineering victory with a grand slam home run. With a thunderous kick, Nate rocketed the ball into the outfield, rounding the bases in the ensuing chaos. Nate is the type of player that performs under pressure, and for that he is our player of the week.

Where My Pitches At
Ahh, what could have been. Story of many lives, huh? Well, for Taylor H, what could have been were not 1, but 2 triple plays. Both times on a popup, the catch was made, ball was thrown to Taylor, who stepped on 2nd base twice, but couldn't quite get it together to throw it to first either time before the runner could get back. Taylor also knocked in 4 runs on the offensive side, so it wasn't all bad. Congrats!

Mary Ann had one memorable day at the plate Wednesday. No one could keep her off the base paths as she kicked a perfect game going 5-for-5. When on base she hustled her heart out and ended up coming home three times. What an excellent performance by MaryAnn, our Player of the Week!!

Amazing plays deserve special recognition and Sam's tip drill catch single-handedly won her Player of the Week Wednesday night. With all the concentration, the sure hands, and quick reflexes it took to complete the out, Sam earns a 10 for difficulty and a 10 for execution. Fantastic play Sam!

Asher Perlmutter
Asher Perlmutter
Saved by the Ball
Asher was all over the field defensively in both games of the playoff opening double header for Saved by the Ball. He played a little at catcher making some nice throws to first for some big outs but really showed his stuff running all over the outfield making numerous catches and keeping his team in the game as it was win or go home. He also had a key 2-run single and a run scored in what ended up being an extra inning win to keep the dream alive. He was solid defensively in game 2 as well but Saved by the Ball just couldn't get it done offensively although Asher had 2 big kicks and got aboard 3 times--it just wasn't enough against the tough D of Making Kickball Great Again. Thanks for playing hard and having fun all the way to the end.

Where My Pitches At
During Where My Pitches At's championship run, Allan was the steady defensive hand his team needed. His 'sticky' hands at first base let nothing by as he stretched and reached for every out. He also snagged pop up after pop up and pretty much locked down the right half of the field. Congrats to Allan and all his teammates on an exciting championship night!
