Spring Co-ed Softball at Magnolia Sundays

An Underdog rookie, Chris took the mound like a vet Sunday keeping an experienced Crossfit Interbay team swinging at air. Even though he claimed to have never pitched before, Chris was painting corners and bringing the heat like a seasoned pro. His superb pitching performance helped It's Lit start the season off with a win. Great job Chris!

Gunning down a player at the plate is an exciting play no matter the score. But when your team is up by a lone run it is that much better. Late in the game with his team up by one, Mike dug deep and put everything he had into a laser throw to home to save his team a crucial run and notch a win in the standings.

Sarah Baradaran gets player of the week honors for May 8th after a scary moment on the last play of her game. While standing on third base, her teammate blasted a scorching line drive which struck her in the head. To her immense credit, she neither went down nor showed signs of quit, and her teammates had to remove her from the field. Her resilience and determination, and ability to smile afterwards in the face of injury has demonstrated true Underdog spirit and has given her the nod for POTW.
