  Morning Missiles

Battle Royal

Morning Missiles and Notorious D.I.G. showed up ready to kick some butt on the volleyball court. The number 4 seed Notorious jumped right out of the gate with wicked serves and great play from the front and back lines. They showed #2 Morning Missiles that they meant business and at the end of game 1 Morning Missiles walked off the court grinding their teeth in defeat. Game two was a different story as Morning Missiles came to life and gave Notorious a run for their money. Tied at one and one going into game 3, both teams showed that they wanted the championship title, but in the end only one team can win and the victory went to Morning Missiles.

  Is That Pesto?

There's a First Time for Everything

After a rough season Pimp-Shiz got their mojo back for the playoffs as they beat the number one team in the quarter finals and the #5 team in the semi finals. This matched them up against Is the Pesto?, another team that struggled a bit during the regular season, but brought their "A" game to the finals. After each playing their semi finals match, the two teams were warmed up and ready for another fight. The intensity was high, the hits were hard and the digs were low. Is the Pesto? took the lead right away by winning game one, but Pimp-Shiz was not going to go down without a fight and came back to win game two. Both teams were looking a little warn out by the third game, but there was still plenty of hustle going on. Game three was pretty much neck and neck the whole way through and it came down to the buzzer when Is That Pesto? snagged their first Midcore 1 championship ever.
