Winter Midcore Volleyball at First Baptist Mondays

Heidi is an upbeat player who motivates her team with a smile and great sense of humor. She is constantly laughing on and off of the court. Heidi put up some fabulous sets and killer swings on the court which helped her team to a victory. Despite a bum finger, she was able to put some power behind her serves and set beautifully! Great job, Heidi! :)

Shirley is an extremely positive player! She is always one of the first to congratulate a teammate for a good play. Beyond her support on the court, she also provided her team with several serves, digs and kills for the night. Her optimistic attitude and competitive play has brought great results to her team. Way to go, Shirley! :)

Cody has made tremendous improvements this season!! He is becoming more in tune with the game and has gained a lot of confidence at the net. Last night, he was a blocking machine!!! He was all over the place and constantly stuffed his opponents but was always there to offer them a high-five. In addition to his blocks, he also had some great digs in the back row. Great job, Cody!! :)

Kendall and his team showed up strong in their semi final match. Their team's serving was fierce, containing two of the leagues only jump servers and Kendall's jump float. The match was close, and although unprotected sets could not pull it out in the end, Kendall and his team kept smiling. They always had something to joke or laugh about, and they never let the competition get the best of them. This lighthearted team spirit was led by Kendall. Thanks for being the best team to watch, and good luck next season!
