Stinky Fingers, Thunder Thighs, Violent Chubbies, Where My Pitches At?
POTW: Bernie Mac
Big Swinging Kicks
Bernie Mac comes to Seattle for an amazing run at Kickball. After several innings of intense kicking, Bernie Mac produced a much needed offensive attack with a massive boot to center field. His ability to knock it out of the park is something we hope will come soon for our beloved M's!!
Big Swinging Kicks, Blue Barracudas, Lawn Gnomes, SloRollers the OG's
POTW: Chase Thompson
Thunder Thighs
Chase was an aggressive player on opening day! He caught 4 pop flies, and contributed 2 runs to his teams solid win! Although he claims a third that he was robbed of! Job well done!
Blue Barracudas, SloRollers the OG's, Thunder Thighs, Violent Chubbies
POTW: Tyler Wojciechowski
Stinky Fingers
Tyler was a serious ball player with his catches through the entire game. But the best highlight to Tyler's game day was his run to home, thanks to his team mates kick! lets just say this big guy has some wheels when the time calls for it!
Big Swinging Kicks, Lawn Gnomes, Stinky Fingers, Where My Pitches At?
POTW: Camille M
Violent Chubbies
The offensive fire power by Violent Chubbies was highlighted by Camille's powerful three run homerun on bunt. Camille was able to weave around her base path barely avoiding mutiple attempts to get her out.
Big Swinging Kicks, SloRollers the OG's, Stinky Fingers, Where My Pitches At?
POTW: Richards, Josh
Lawn Gnomes
In what turned into a defensive battle between Thunder Thighs and Lawns Gnomes, where runs came at a premium. Josh Richards was able to maneuver his way around the base path like Ichiro to score both runs to preserve the 2-1 hard fought victory for the Lawn Gnomes.
Blue Barracudas, Stinky Fingers, Thunder Thighs, Violent Chubbies
POTW: Carson Rasmussen
Big Swinging Kicks
the entire game was nail-bitting close! Luckily for Big Swinging Kicks, they've got Carson to pull the game back together. Last inning, Carson has an incredible kick and gets 3RBI's for the tie.
Big Swinging Kicks, Lawn Gnomes, SloRollers the OG's, Where My Pitches At?
POTW: Colin Davis
Thunder Thighs
Colin had a rough start to this game...TWO catching errors was definitely not a norm for him. BUT when it came down to crunch time for an all important catch, he completely redeemed himself. once again Colin is MVP for Thunder Thighs for his expertise
Blue Barracudas, Lawn Gnomes, SloRollers the OG's, Stinky Fingers
POTW: Chase Thompson
Thunder Thighs
In what turned out to be an epic battle between Where's My Pitches At? and Thunder Thighs, Chase Thompson turned in spectacular performance that helped his team comeback. Throughout the game there were momentum swings by both teams; Chase's solo home run helped Thunder Thighs open up the lead early on their opponent. Where's My Pitches At? came storming back to take a commanding 10-4 lead. Chase added an RBI and run as apart of a five run rally in the fifth to cut the lead to one. Still down one Chase provided the game tying run in the bottom of seventh. The game ended in a 10-10 tie.
After a slow start to Tuesday night's game, Dave Drumhiller decided to add a little excitement. Down 2-1 in the top of the 5th inning, Dave hammered a line drive to the outfield which scored three runs and give his team the lead. Dave also dominated defensively with four put-outs and awesome catching at 1st base. Great job Dave.
Big Swinging Kicks, Blue Barracudas, Stinky Fingers, Where My Pitches At?
POTW: Adrian Shaproski
SloRollers the OG's
This guy! What a guy! Don't let him fool you, he's more agile than he looks! The entire game, home team SloRollers were down but kept the game as close as possible. Adrian demonstrated his professional kickball-ness with consistently solid kicks and did a pretty sweet dive for second. AND he had two runs to boot to help with a victory. Very awesome performance!
Blue Barracudas, Lawn Gnomes, Thunder Thighs, Violent Chubbies
POTW: Ken Moe
Where My Pitches At?
We should just call Ken the black hole from now on. Send any flying kickball his way, and its a guaranteed out! Unstoppable on defense AND offense. I think he was being modest when he claimed 3 runs... What a guy!
This week's player of the week goes to Jessie Simons of the Stinky Fingers. Jesse was called up from the minors to provide a little bit of D w/a little bit of her amazing bunting skillz. She sure showed those off in her big game against the SloRollers. Behind the plate she managed to run down a couple of rubber ballz in order to keep the runners from advancing, in turn keeping the runners from scoring. Jessie also put on a bunting clinic, reaching base time and time again. I don't think Jessie will be spending anymore time in the minors...i think she found a permanent spot in the majors. Great job Jessie!
Kevin is the true hero for the Thunder Thighs win. Championship game or not, Kevin brings that A-game EVERY game, and it definitely came in use for the underdogs to come out on top for this game. Thunder Thighs were down just by a couple points. Kevin was up to kick and lays one down hard to the outfield. That allows his teammates to run in and take the lead for one well deserved victory. Nice work
