I'd Hit It, Kick Yo Couch Ninjas, Pour Decisions - Indy #1, Suck My Kick
POTW: Rebecca O'Connor
My Safe Word Is "Unicorn"
Rebecca started the week off on the right foot! She displayed that great foot with some solid kicks and effective base running! She appeared to have so much fun on offense and defense, it was hard not to smile. Her attitude was infectious as her whole team seemed happy to just kick. For her attitude, her great pitching and great display of kicking, she earned player of the week!
A Real Kick in the Pants, Calypso Cancer Kickers, Hopscotching, My Safe Word Is "Unicorn"
POTW: Lauren Kron
I'd Hit It
This weeks player of the week goes to Lauren Kron and her great kicks and hustle. Leaving it all on the field Lauren went down on the bases while hustling in the base-paths, and left injured, leaving a obvious hole on her team! Great job Lauren! Heal up quickly!

POTW: Nick Deisler
A Real Kick in the Pants
Nick proved to everyone that witnessed his outstanding play on Wednesday that Kickball isn't all about gettin' hits...it's also about FASHION. Who knew that the bottom of your jeans can be used as a headband? Way to be thrifty and stylish, Nick. You are a GENIUS! I will always reconsider throwing out an old pair of jeans, thanks to you.

I'd Hit It
This weeks player of the week goes to Brian Carraway for his efforts down the stretch! With the game on the line in the final inning, Brian was able to kick the go-ahead Home-run in the top of the inning. The bottom of the inning he was also able to make the game ending catch and punctuate his big kick. Great job Brian!

POTW: Rebecca Reese
Suck My Kick
This week's player of the week goes to Suck My Kick's ALL STAR pitcher, Rebecca Reese. Rebecca, who demonstrated such poise and control on the mound going into the 4th inning, found herself "out of sorts" when she discovered a friendly present from a neighborhood dog on the Kickball. She quickly recognized the severity of this and dropped the ball while slowly stepping away from it. She was, shortly after, given a replacement ball. Shaking this disgusting situation off, Rebecca managed to continue on to pitch a great game, beating a competitive opponent, A Real Kick in the Pants. Way to stay focused, Rebecca....and i hope you washed your hands:)

POTW: Adrienne Yoder
Calypso Cancer Kickers
This weeks player of the week goes to Adrienne "Yoda" Yoder. Adrienne has yet to get out while kicking this season, and looks as if she has been playing kick-ball all her life. It was her play in the outfield that sealed the deal for her running down numerous shots to right field and making superb catches. Her play had the opponents scratching their heads in astonishment, great job Adrienne, keep it up!

POTW: Rollie Perez
Calypso Cancer Kickers
Rollie "Rally" Perez is this week's TOP DAWG. Rally played a great game against the kickball pounding "I'd Hit It" team. Because of Rollie's phenomenal catching and kicking, Calypso Cancer Kickers grabbed their first victory. The game was tight and the Calypso Cancer Kickers were down by 1 when Mr. Kickball (Rally) found a gap in the outfield to bring around 2 of his teammates putting them ahead 9 to 8 at the end of the game. Great work out there Rollie!

A Real Kick in the Pants
Report cards can wait! On this final day of kickball for A Real Kick in the Pants, they came out with only 8 players and played 7 innings of true Underdog kickball. Although the game didn't go their way, A Real Kick in the Pants never wavered in their enthusiasm for the game and after going down early, played great defense throughout and after battling at the plate all game, managed to rally to get on the board in the bottom of the 7th. The team effort these guys gave definitely earned them Team of the Week! Congrats on a great season.
This weeks player of the week goes to the solid play of Laura King who showed up to win. She had multiple outs in the field, making great catches and very hard kicked balls. She also never got out with her kicks showing tons of speed on the base paths. She helped her team get the high honors of Kickball champs, and Im sure made her family proud of her accomplishments! Nice job Laura!
