Winter Midcore Co-ed Volleyball at First Baptist Tuesdays

Jonas more than deserves this weeks Player of the Week! He had spikes that were spot on accurate, hard hits and scared everyone, including even me and I was on the sideline. He was also so upbeat and took any bad hits he may have made gracefully and with good spirit. His serves were also superb and he moved around the court like he was floating. Jonas was a fun player to watch and helped lead his team to victory, more then qualifying him to be Player of the Week!

Chelan is this nights Player of the Week because of her flat out awesomemness this week. She was a one woman team, with all over play that was off the wall. She had fantastic hits that landed in the corner of the court nearly every time. Her serves were hard hit and went over the net every time. She also had some great dives across the floor and played in TWO matches back to back. Way to play Chelan and can't wait to see what you do next week!!!

Jennifer was just an all around awesome team player!! She had excellent passing, precise digs (anything that came at her should could dig and pass with complete accuracy)! Not only is she a key investment in the back row (she is also a setting machine) but she was the best team cheer person out there! She stayed positive and kept encouraging her team no matter what!! That is the best Underdog Spirit!!

While this weeks POTW was not on the championship team, her play throughout the night was exceptional and she stood out from the pack. Chelan's spikes were off the chain plummeting to the floor at supersonic speeds. She had a cluth push deep into the opposing teams territory in the first match of the night and end that game with 7 serves in a row to win it. She was always switching up her attacks, from hits to tips to pushes, and kept her energy level up even though she played in all 3 matches. Way to go Chelan!
