It's been a long road for the Gutter Sharks but tonight was their night! Their first match up against the Pin Stalkers was slated to be a close one but Noah, Larry, Sara and Taylor came together with some top notch bowling, a 587 vs. 518 win! Then it was off to the playoffs...
Their opponents, Balls So Hard had been contenders all season in both skill and spirit. They ousted Turkey Hunters from the battle for the Championship title with a 562 vs 544. Next up they had to swim with the Sharks!
The Gutter Sharks came out of the water like that scene from Planet Earth. Right off the bat they could smell blood in the water and never let the finish line out of their sight. Balls So Hard gave it all they had but they didn't perform as they would have liked and Gutter Sharks took them down to Davy Jones locker.
Congrats Gutter Sharks on being Champions!
Balls So Hard didn't let the loss get them down, in true Underdog spirit they stuck around to congratulate Gutter Sharks and that is just part of the reason why they were named Spirit Champs!

This weeks player of the game goes to...BECKY DANAHER!
Becky bowled one heck of a game tonight scoring a whopping 214! Her along with her teammates all bowled an amazing game with strikes after strikes and spares after spares! The team kept the energy up and Becky was able to feed off the energy and keep the ball rolling literally!
It was either their energy or that magic wrist brace that gave her the competitive advantage tonight. Congrats on a great game Becky!
