POTW: Mike Morrill

NT STARS

In this game, featuring the NT Stars and the Banditos, Mike Morrill proved just how valuable defense is. In a game much closer than what the score showed, Mr. Morrill displayed his solid defensive skills one play after another keeping the Banditos from getting any runners in scoring position. Congrats to Mike Morrill, who earns this week's Player of the Week!!!

POTW: Mike Morrill

NT STARS

This game was a great summer classic that involved excellent defensive and offensive performances by both teams. After 5 lead changes, the Underdevelopments and NT Stars found themselves at a 14-14 tie at the end of regulation. After both teams unable to post scores in the 8th inning, it was Mike Morrill who came up big with a clutch 1 out triple down the first base line and later scored the winning run on an infield ground ball. Congrats to Mike and to both teams for an excellent game played!

POTW: Nolan Wehe

NT STARS

Out of 14 innings pitched, Nolan pitched 12 innings of shutout ball. Nolan only gave up runs in the 6th inning of his first game, and the 7th and final inning of the second game. Nolan repeatedly attacked the strike zone, making the opposition hit the ball to the great defense he had behind him.
