Sometimes the championship game isn't always the "Hollywood" game filled with drama and excitement like you see on TV. It's more often than not, just a regular one sided game.....but NOT this game. This championship game had the whole drama package filled with "what!!...no way!! moments. On defense there were the diving catches in the outfield, there were the bobble catches that one teammate had to save another, there were the catches that happen to just end up between the knees. On offense there was the amazing display of foot power and CRAZY MAD base running skills. But what made this game great...wait, no....what made this game EPIC, was the 7th inning. Kick Tease was down by a run with two outs and bases loaded, when a key bunt was laid down to score the tying run. Awesome! but that wasn't it. Bag of Kicks gets the third out, and we head into the bottom of the 7th. They started off with getting a runner on base and then a few kickers into the inning and bad ass Jason steps up to the plate and knocks one passed the outfielders scoring Garin for the game winning run!!! FANFREAKINTASTIC! That was one for the record books. Great performance by both teams and hope to see you guys back in action in the near future!
No one deserves player of the week more than Jason Tsai! We don't need to say much more than WALK OFF KICK. Well, I guess we'll also include that the walk off kick was to win the championship game!! Bottom of the 7th and a runner on, Jason smacked one into the outfield passed the outfielders scoring Garin for the game winning run. After that it was nothing but hugs, kisses and autographs for Jason!
