First Place

Summer Softcore Kickball in Ravenna Mon/Wed

... But there are many contributing players on this Osgood Slaughter's team! With no one really wanting to take credit for winning the Chip, they all pointed to other team mates as being great contributors to their success. Many players had stand out performances, but most notable about this well-oiled machine was the fact they only committed one error between the two games en route to a championship. They endured trash-talk throughout the evening and provided a little of their own as they staked their claim to a much deserved and applauded championship!

Wednesday, August 5

Colin Dalrymple

Osgood Slaughterers

As many players shouted, the Championship run was a TEAM effort. It is hard to exclude the many contributors for Osgood Slaughters on their Championship night. But if one player stood out above the rest, it had to be Colin. In the semi final match, Colin not only booted a 3 run home run to erase an 1 - 0 deficit, but he also provided his team with a dagger of a shot that resulted in Grandma having to pull out the rye bread and mustard... Why??? Because it was Grand Salami time!!! As lethal as Colin was at the plate, he was equally as devastating pitching two complete game gems even though at one point we were all thinking that fatigue was getting the best of his pitching arm. But no! He channeled his inner Daniel Lawrie and pressed on to bring home a kickball championship!!!

Monday, August 3

Maddie Forrest

Offensive and Defensive MVP

Osgood Slaughterers brought their game faces for the entire 7 innings with contributions from several players. In the end Maddie Forrest was player of the game, but her performance was good for Player of the Week. Maddie had 3 lineout catches on the defensive side of the ball and 3 hits on the offensive side making her a dual threat. When you're looking for clutch performances in the playoffs this is exactly the type of player you want on your team! Other teams beware, Maddie Forrest is coming for a championship!

Monday, July 6

Jared Fagan

Osgood Slaughterers

Commitment was the theme for this evening. Just ask Kyle of Extra Special Ballers. But the not goes to Jared for pulling double duty and diving for balls in the outfield. But what takes the cake was Jared's totally illegal, Pete Rose (See a theme there) like head first slide into 3rd base. This wasn't your ordinary slide but one that could be tabbed as extreme air on the take off and a belly flop on the landing. So amazing, I couldn't help but call Jared safe!

Monday, June 29

Colin Dalrymple

Osgood Slaughterers

Colin is a multi-talented individual! And I don't just mean in terms of a offensive and defensive phenomenon, but multi talented across many different disciplines. Colin's kicks are out of this world, almost literally but for gravity! Colin booted a rare legitimate home run without the assistance of errors by the fielding team. If it weren't for the umpire holding him to a triple on a kick that got lost in the woods, Colin would have had two home runs. Not be overshadowed by his offense, Colin also turned an un-assisted double play. Now enough about kickball, let's talk about his break dancing skills...
