Pete Carney had a hot leg to go with his unreasonably short hot pants Tuesday night at Lower Woodland. If Pete put a foot on the ball he was likely to score on the same play. That plus some stellar defense brought his team a great walk off victory. The biggest of Pete's RKIs came in the bottom of the seventh when he kicked another run home and got safely to base, putting his team in prime position for a comeback win. When the dust had settled, Pete and his penetrators had won it 9-8 in the bottom of the seventh. Now that's penetration.
