Beermaster dominated the regular season, suffering only 1 loss against a stacked league. After squeaking into the finals with last second win in the semi-finals, they would get to face the only team that sent them home with an L, Bosworth's Buddies. Behind the rocket arm and steady leadership of QB Tommy Eulberg, Beermaster would get their revenge against the 'Buddies' in the championship game. Tommy led his team to 5 TDs as they cruised to an impressive title game victory. Congrats on the magnificent season and bringing the title home!!
Player of the Week goes to the MVP of the championship game, Tommy Eulberg of Beermaster. Whenever they needed a big play, he delivered. Tommy absolutely was the steadying force for his offense. As he guided them to 5 TDs, all while never crumbling under the big game pressure. Great game, impressive season and superb championship run! Congrats Tommy!
In the most thrilling game of the night, Scott ended up with the biggest play of the night. With time running out and his team trailing, Scott made an incredible reception as he pulled in the winning touchdown with only 11 seconds left on the clock! What a way to start the playoffs!
In a heavyweight slugfest, like the battle of Beermaster vs PF Flyers, there are plenty of options for player of the week. But for his poise in the pocket and great play calling, Tommy stood head and shoulders above the rest. He wasn't just a great game manager, he also made some amazing throws on his way to 6 touchdowns. Great game Tommy!
On opening night, most players need to shake off the rust before putting on a show. Not Beermaster's ball hawk Will Campbell.
Will came flying out of the gate racking up an impressive 3 interceptions. He brought one of those picks back to the house for his second TD of the game! Great game Will and good luck to all opposing offenses the rest of the season!
