WOW! That word is, effectively, the only way to describe Joshua’s big moment. Joshua Banks of That’s What She Set exhibited astounding athleticism when he graciously performed a cross court pass that didn’t end up going into any ordinary volleyball net, it sunk right into the basketball net of one of First Baptist’s finest basketball hoops. While receiving a tough serve, Joshua had his perfect passing form ready but his inner baller couldn’t hold back from making that 3 pointer and seemingly defying the laws of physics in the process. The volleyball to basketball net play was exactly what both teams needed in the third set in order to add some laughter and fun back into game. For stunning everyone with his extreme athleticism, Joshua Banks is our player of the week. Congratulations!
This past Thursday at First Baptist Andry of That’s What She Set came up resourcefully when his team needed him the most. During a heated battle at the net, his team needed a miracle in order to win the point. Quickly, Andry rose to the occasion. After digging a spike from the other side, Andry mistakenly ended up on the wrong side of the net. Hastily, he returned to his teams side, was set, and immediately went in for the kill, winning his team the point. For being so epic in the game’s most critical moment, Andry is our player of the week. Congratulations!
