Led on offense by quarterback extraordinaire Phil Johnson, and on defense by sack artist De'Armon Lockett, No Romo left No Doubt as to whether or not they were deserving of a championship. The most fun team in the league dispatched all opposition in a playoff run that was truly epic. Johnson and Lockett shined in the championship game, leading the way to a 38-12 victory. Lockett's relentless QB pressure kept the pressure off of the offense, making Johnson's five touchdown passes more than enough to take home the T-Shirts.
Offense gets all the glory. But defense wins championships. De'Armon Lockett personified that notion on Sunday, by earning Player of the Game honors in both the semi final and final rounds. It was Lockett's pressure that made the difference, particularly early in the final game, as Lockett got two sacks on the first possession, putting the opposing quarterback into a frenzy for the rest of the game as No Romo won 38-12.
