WALK-OFF!

Who else but the walk-off kicker to earn this week's POTW award? All game long, Sujeeth was on top of things, kicking well and recording nice outs at catcher. But his shining moment came in the bottom of the 7th inning, with 2 outs. Sujeeth hit a rocket kick to centerfield, bringing home the winning runs! Congratulations on advancing to the next round!

Mauriana brought the leg tonight at Cascade kickball. Knocking in 4 RBIs throughout her game, Mauriana repeatedly booted balls well over her opponents heads. Displaying beautiful kicking form, Mauriana proved instrumental to her team's victory. For her kicking prowess, Mauriana is our POTW. Congratulations!

Pitches Be Crazy

Pitches Be Crazy played a back and forth game on Monday and really had to earn the win. Throughout the game there were great contributions on both offense and defense by all players. The greatest one came however in the last inning with the game on the line. Rookie Jeff Barr with his debut in Underdog Kickball had his chance to solidfy himself as a clutch player early in his career. Jeff had been consistent through the game getting on base early and often. The pitch came in and Jeff kicked a single that would score two runs in the bottom of the 7th to give his team the walk-off victory. This is why Jeff has earned player of th week honors.

The Gold Glove Award

This Wednesday at Cascade Playfield, Catherine LaPlant held down the fort mightily at1st! Throughout her double-header, Catherine did not drop a single ball, which is a rare feat for anybody playing first base! She displayed athletic prowess and had a good head for the game, despite this being her first time playing! For her performance, Catherine is our player of the week. Congratulations!
