In only their second season CFPR has captured their first league title. This goes oto show what a scrappy bunch of players can do when you put them all together. I love how this teams plays for each other and I especially love their grit and determination. They are never mad or shouting at one another when things are going side ways. Instead they band together, play for each other and just have fun. It's not common for a new USL team to win a title this early in their existence but when you have the ingredients that they have and the willingness to fight until the end, this is what you get. Congratulations to all of you at CFPR.

CFPR easily won both games of their double header on Sunday. At the same time King James was winning his first championship for Cleveland, Queen Marissa Summers was dominating her opponents in similar fashion. On defense, she was making plays all over the field putting on a literal clinic. Her offensive accolades are even more impressive. With two home-runs and and seven RBI's in the second game alone the Queen's teammates paid homage to her by making her Player of the Game.
