Cute Squad is poised to make a run deep into the playoffs and the journey started Wednesday night in their dominating performance against the Tots. Their defense was stellar and their bats were on fire. This team has all of the pieces it needs to make a deep run and only they can stop themselves from reaching the pinnacle. Led by Hannah's second base defensive prowess this team is looking to take on all comers and are ready for a rumble. Great game Hannah and great win Cute Squad.
Kate B earns this week's Player of the Week award for her gold glove like playing out there in left field. All night, she was making great grabs out there, but she really came through in the 7th inning. Up by 1 in the bottom of the 7th, Batting Average got a base runner to 2nd with one out. There was a deep drive to left, Kate thought nothing of it as she made a very fine play and throw to hold the runner. The third out came her way as well, a simple popup that she grabbed for the game ending out. Nice work out there, Kate!
