Larry is once again player of the week! And once again, he bowled the game of his life! Even with his team running out of time, Larry couldn't be stopped and his teammates were clearly excited by his performance. With a score of 218, he might've just gotten the highest score of the season!
This week's player of the week goes to Paul Beveridge! Paul had the best score of the night (if not the season) reaching 209 points! Even with a win looming in the last frame, he was not done! He managed to finish the night with 2 turkeys and 2 spares, collecting prizes along the way while also having a great time with his teammates! Congratulations Paul!
Just about anyone in our leagues would be more than satisfied with a 191 opening score. Not Larry, let me tell you! After every roll that wasn't a strike (believe me folks, there weren't many!) he would have a look of absolute disgust on his face, cursing himself even after he knocked down the remaining pin for a spare. Larry only had perfection on his mind, even sacrificing team prize tickets (his team had 4 spares in a row and he went up and bowled a strike!) Although he was super competitive within himself, he still had great spirits among his teammates and opponents, which really makes Larry a true Underdog!
