The team Bump, Set, Shake n' Bake truly showed their underdog spirit in todays win, beating their higher ranked opponents in their final set 2-1. Though they lost their 1 set, it was a close game to the very end only losing by 2 points, 25-23. However, they did not let this bring them down, this only fueled them to play harder and better, with their one and only Erica Milgate at the lead.
Erica Milgate's performance in during the 2nd and 3rd sets stood out above the others. In the 2nd set, where her team won by and outstanding 25-10 differential, Erica helped her team gain a numerous amount of point with her aces and overall difficult serves, not only that but her overall play with great digs and ball placement were great as well. But in the final set is where Erica really showed off her skills. Near the end of the set Erica helped her team pull way ahead by serving a consecutive 8 serves, mixed with a couple aces to defeat her opponents 25-11.
