Matthew really embodied what it meant to be an underdog athlete. He was always in top of scores, played hard, played fair, and was always making sure everyone was enjoying the Greta sport of pickleball. His teams sheer will had one of the hardest and most intense matchups in the finals this week and through it all Matthew was an amazing sport, played to his full potential and deserves to be player of the week.
