If the Statdog handed out banners, it would have been a banner season for Washed Up as they went a perfect 7-0 and capped of their championship run with a 2-1 victory over Ballers without Borders. The first two games were hotly contested as Ballers without Borders proved to be a worthy opponent, pushing them Washed Up to the limit by squeaking out a 25-24 victory in the second game after narrowly dropping the first 21-19. In the third and final game, Washed Up strongly flexed their collective muscle and pulled away to a 21-12 victory and the league championship.
There are leaders, and then there is John Miller. John helped show that Washed Up was just an example of a team using their name to play possum, as they completed an undefeated season by making their opponents washed up. Congratulations to John and the rest of the gang for an amazing season.
