Helping his team earn their first victory in two seasons, Steve is our Player of the Week due to his defensive prowess. While his squad could not score many runs, Steve made it stand up with his excellent defense in the outfield. He made catch after catch shutting down any rally the opponent could start. Great game Steve and congrats on the victory to the whole Metia team!
In what ended up being a close game, Jason gave his all on both sides of the ball. He made a great catch at second base that ended a 6th inning rally by Return of the Pitches, keeping the game within reach. Then, in the top of the 7th and final inning he had a big RBI kick as part of his team's 5-run final effort that came up just short of a victory but showed what great heart and pride the entire team has. Thanks for never giving up!
