In the Mid-core championship "S.W.A.T." faced off with the "Beer Batters". Both teams played great in this game, and the games that got them to the championship. S.W.A.T. played Swingin' Sword Wreckas to advance on, wining by 1 run in the bottom of the 7th, 8 to 7. Much like that game it was the Beer Batters also needed a run in the last inning to beat KB's Crew 9 to 8. IT was S.W.A.T.'s second inning against the Beer Batters that took the wind out of the sails for Beer Batters. Beer Batters would be shut out the next 3 innings while S.W.A.T. continued to build on their lead. Both teams played great all season but it was S.W.A.T. who came out on top this day. Great game to both teams, the final score was 23 to 11, S.W.A.T. on top.
