Interracial Sets sailed smoothly through the regular season weeks, dominating each team 3-0. Each opponent put up a valiant effort, however only White Frogs could put up 23 points against the unstoppable force. This team really gels together, knowing each others' strengths, and trusting each others' abilities to get the job done. Nick was leading his team into playoffs as the top seed at 6-0!!
The first round of playoffs, Interracial Sets had a rematch with White Frogs, defeating them 25-15, 25-20 in a heated back and forth match. The semifinals against Planet Volleywood was a tough, fast match, result in a 25-17, 25-22 win. The finals against The Dream Continues began with one of the best matches of the season, as Dream won the first game 26-24. Nick rallied his team and won the final two games 25-15, 25-13. Nick put together an All Star Team who are the Champions of the Winter Midcore Volleyball League at Seattle Central on Tuesdays!!
This weeks Player of the Week goes to....Kendall Fisher of Interracial Sets!
Kendall and his are phenomenal on and off the court. He sets his teammates for amazing spikes, he goes up for blocks, attacks the ball, and hustles hard for his teammates.
Off the court Kendall shows up with a smile on and positive attitude and shares jokes and laughs with his teammates post game.
Kendall and his teammates are talented and athletic players and although he may leave the court undefeated he remains humble and gracious in victory.
