Summer Softcore Kickball in Renton Thursdays

Thursday, July 24

Zin

Comeback Records

Zin was the man on this night of kickball, Zin kicked bombs, caught everything kicked in his directions and was speedy on the bases. Zin played like a 6 tool kick baller and helped his team go 2 and 0 in their double header. To sum it up Zin was the "Man"! Great games Zin.

Thursday, July 17

Sara G

Comeback Records

Sara, was the ultimate trooper this evening. Not only playing her scheduled game with her team, Comeback Records, Sara offered and gave her services to Big Swingin' Kicks for two more games as they were short a player. Sara played a total of three games and while her teams weren't victorious for all of her games she was very instrumental in her team winning the third and final game of the evening in a very close and hotly contested ball game. Going 2 for 3 at the plate and scoring two runs in her team's victorious match. We all want to give Sara a big shout out for pulling triple duty and being an unselfish player!

Thursday, July 10

Ashley D

Comeback Records

With her team short handed for most of the game, Ashley had to man (WOMAN) the whole left side of the infield playing a hybrid Short Stop/3rd Base position. Rightfully so, the opponent tried many times to take advantage of the seemingly under-manned (WOMANNED) side of the field but Ashley consistently made play after play running to her left and right, robbing kickers of base hits and keeping her team within striking distance as they endured an early deficit. Not only was Ashley's defense on point, she was able to kick start the offense by going 4 - 4 and sparking a 3 run fourth inning to erase a 3 - 0 deficit. The best part about Ashley's performance was the amount of time she spent at the plate... Um, carefully selecting the perfect pitch for her to put into play.
