Fall Co-ed Softball at Lower Woodlands Mondays

Down by 3 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning, Sean Vonnegut belted a 2 out walk off game winning grand slam to help his team advance to the championship game. After getting to the championship game they would not be denied and proceeded to beat up on YOLOSWAG to earn another lead title. They hustled, they didn't commit many errors and they knocked the stuffing out of the ball all game long.Great game Sean and congratulations on winning another league title.

Hit it and Forget About it Takes Title

Sean and Ann Lead The Charge

Once again we have crowned Hit It and Forget About It. They hit, they ran, they hustled and willed themselves to yet another league title. Hats off to Sean for getting them to the championship game with a walk off game winning Grand Slam in the previous game. Ann was lights out from the rubber as always and the rest of the team showed some guts in fighting off YOLO Swag in the later innings. Great game and congratulations on yet another championship.

Roetzer-Johnson Deals the Goods

There is one thing I know to be certain when Anne is on the rubber and feeling it early. You are either going to hit the ball or you are going to stand at the plate waiting for a walk that just ins't going to come. In many cases you are going to be out if you are waiting. She was definitely feeling it early on Monday night dealing the nasty stuff and making it very difficult for Slapping it Through the Hole to put the ball in play. High arching pitches reigning down around the plate while she's working the edges like a carpenter. She also batted 3 for 4 with a laser shot down the left field line scoring two runs. Just helping her own cause most would say. After it was all said and done she and her team had only given up six runs over seven innings and scored twenty three. Great win for Hit it and Forget About it and another AnneVP performance.
