The Dothraki Horde had a great regular season. They earned the number 2 seed by playing an evenly balanced game. Showing great offense and defense all year long. But the playoffs would be an entirely different challenge.
After falling behind early in the semi-finals, the Horde fought back with a huge 3-run 7th inning rally to tie the game up and force extra innings. In the extra frame their star pitcher, Colleen Gallagher came through big time with the walkoff hit that would put them into the finals.
In the finals the would face the previously undefeated top seeded Pre-existing Kickditions. Most teams would be nervous as the underdog, but the Horde thrived on it. No late inning charge was needed in this one as they built a slim lead early and kept adding on. They finished the season off with a 6 run championship game victory. Way to go Dothraki Horde, fantastic season!!
To win a championship you need to get to through the semi-finals first. The Dothraki Horde would not have had a chance to win their title if not for Colleen. Her late inning shutdown pitching kept her team in the game. Then to top it all off she kicked in the winning run in extra innings to send the Horde to the finals. Way to go Colleen!
