First Place

Early Spring Co-ed Softball on Capitol Hill Tuesday/Thursday

Hit it and Forget About it had an outstanding year, and their balanced attack gave them the upper edge in almost every game they played. They rolled through the playoffs and won the semifinals by eight runs and had a hard fought victory in the finals. Their capital, Brian J had an especially awesome season, winning player of the game numerous time. Their hustle, energy, and not to mention their positive attitudes and the desire to have a good time allowed Hit it and Forget About it to have a very memorable season, congratulations!

El capitan

Hit it and Forget About it

Championship night brought 80 degree weather and a whole lot of people enjoying it at Bobby Morris Playfield. Because there were so many pedestrians strolling around the outfield grass it took some great coaching by team captain Brian J to bring home the championship. Brian's coaching, not too mention his rare 2 run sacrifice fly to pad the lead in the bottom of the fifth propelled his team to victory on Thursday night.

Stephanie

Hit it and Forget About it

Stephanie definitely had the best performance on the night earning her this weeks POTW. Stephanie scoop a ridiculous number of balls thrown at her while playing 1st base, and never let a ball get by. Stephanie robbed one batter who smoked one down the line her direction as it looked like extra bases, but it ended up being a frustrated walk to the dugout. Stephanie also dazzled at the plate hitting a couple of doubles in her 4 for 5 performance. With zero errors, web gems, and damage with the bat, Stephanie is this weeks player of the week!
