He was all over the court. He was super tall at the net, blocking up a storm and hitting the ball into another dimension. There were countless times where I thought the point was over but he came flying in and got it up. He saved his team a bunch of critical points.
Nick Waters is a really good volleyball player but there was one play that had everyone’s jaws on the ground. It almost looked like it was happening in slow motion. The rally was long and tense and his team set him a high ball in the middle. He came up and hit the ball so hard that when it bounced it nearly hit the ceiling. He hit it so fast nobody had any time to react to it and everyone stood there frozen for about a second. It was the kind of hit you would expect to see on a profesional volleyball team.
Player of the week this week goes to Nick Waters on Indy #V78! He had great hits and saves but what stole the show were his serves. Nick had 6 aces in a row! He knew where to place his serves and was extremely consistent. Go Mick!
