Second Place

Summer Softcore Kickball in Ravenna Tues/Thurs

Tuesday, July 30

Karynne Patterson

The Alabaster Kids

In a back and forth game and darkness closing in Karynne was able to reach third base with one out in the bottom of the 7th inning tied at 4. The ball was kicked to shallow left field and Karynne was able to tag up and hustle home with the winning run. Great job Karynne!

Tuesday, July 16

Lindsay Mitchell

The Alabaster Kids

Lindsay is the definition of great competitor and sportsmanship all wrapped up in one. While obviously frustrated with the umpire at times during the course of the two games her team played in, she never let that get in the way of her performance nor did she ever go over the edge of showcasing her disagreement with some questionable calls. Instead, Lindsay calmly went about her business all night long and in fact provided the game winning run in an extra inning showdown against her team's first rival of the inning. Lindsay followed that up with a dominating performance in the second game as she pitched a gem of a ball game while also providing her self with some run support at the plate. She remained classy in her demeanor toward her opponents and even shook hands with the umpire congratulating him on a night well officiated. Great job Lindsay and keep up the great spirit you always display!
